The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 有点看腻他的片子了，总感觉他的演技一般，脸也看腻了，鲜有好片。凯奇就不一样，随时为了还债拍了很多烂片，但演技永远在线，脸越看越舒服。
根据真实事件改编，从潦倒拳击手到神父的故事。他并不长的一生，却是转折不断，磨难多多。车祸后的神启，让其开始笃信上帝，并献身此事业。导演过于想强调其前后的反差了，重点放到他此前的生活中，节奏又未把握好，拍得并不有趣。

相当于是跳了性感啦啦操，然后告诉你其实这种啦啦操很低俗，又当又立我不欣赏
完成度非常高的類型片！有感動有歡笑，有兩代間的價值觀衝突。更值得稱讚的是，電影本身並沒有走一個政治正確路線，沒有純粹的去趕時髦，只是不偏不倚的站在中間，傳達最純粹簡單的主題。演員們都很討喜，胖艾美瘦下來後臉常常看起來像潘妮洛普克魯茲？？？

除了power of love 那段尬舞，其他绝佳。青春不在年纪，永葆年轻的心灵。能脱颖而出何必泯然众人。一颗爆汁的蜜桃糖果。

影片前后调性不一致，但还是感谢电影展示这个故事。初始目的勿论，探险家以历史角度评判是全人类的英雄，人类之所以能够拥抱整个地球，他们每一个人都居功至伟。
