The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 比我预想的“水进戛纳主竞赛的大俗片”要好很多，甚至有一度想给四星，两个漂浮在水面上不了岸的人相拥沉湖，他们还是没有放过自己，轻轻点出关塔那摩虐囚事件，赢牌的每声“USA!”都讽刺的有些刺耳
问题应该有两点：一可能是制作成本上预算太低；二是施拉德导演天赋太差
只拍了一个月就杀青了， 这个水平可以理解。

从头喊到尾的usa，最后监狱成为归宿，一边反思一边讽刺，像是没有力气了。
我怀疑不懂德州扑克是我看不进去这部电影的主要原因，连摄影师反复给Oscar各种勾人特写都不能阻止我昏昏欲睡，看完b站首页直接出现德州扑克教程…破防了😥

7.5 导演拯救剧本。并非如通常般着重展现赌牌、监狱、报仇这样充满“男子气概”重头戏，转而聚焦情感的流动表达。
一个比较好的题材被导演和编剧毁得只剩形式不见高潮与转折 旧时的伤痛没说好 打扑克也没讲到点子上 两相不连贯 结果平淡得有如催眠
有几个镜头从奥斯卡的侧脸几乎看到了德尼罗😂意料外非常色气的角色。跟玩牌关系不大
《海边的曼彻斯特》姊妹篇。Tell是一尊中空的雕像，被剥夺了一切行为的原动力，所有向好的苗头甫一出生便被掐死，永远活在过去的罪愆和痛感中，余下的人生于他只是pass the time，极度伤感，又无可奈何。
