The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 也许是鄙人经历过1980年代末期的各种运动思潮，对于游行抗争有直面的感受。
本片要抗争的东西我感觉离七君子原本的诉求还是有点区别的，他们原本的诉求是反越战，但是本片实际争取的是发声权、抗争的是政治打压。

片头剪辑是卡点狂魔 犀利戏谑
小小的法庭，完整描绘了整个社会的撕裂感，老法官代表了极其迂腐傲慢的美国官僚制度，年轻一辈繁多的面孔都让人振奋不已。
艾伦索金的台词像子弹，字字句句冲击到脑门。政局的荒唐、司法的不公正、流血冲突到底为了什么……一遍遍质问。当最终海登念出4572个牺牲在越战泥坑的士兵名字时，答案揭晓：就是为了最初的正义，反对战争，一切政治手段不该到良心面前扯浑水。
剧本真的赞，好电影就该是多元多视角两方理由让观众觉得都有道理的。看似疯癫的嬉皮士其实聪明克制，循规蹈矩的好学生却是骚乱源头心机深。也就美国有这种庭审，要在某地。。。。

起承转合都很标准的电影，这代美国左派缺少了锐意进取的反思，更多的是对反抗的歌颂

最后一段过于煽，the whole world is watching 太好莱坞，不喜欢，中间几个时空穿插讲故事的方式还是不错的
开场叙事非常高效，虚实混合剪辑暴动也非常有震慑力。可惜索金的剧本影像化并不成功，自认为信息量巨大却让人抓不住重点，廉价的情绪渲染让人想起我不是药神，除了abbie以外的所有人都缺乏人物弧光，看完也无法引发任何共鸣。结尾仓促马虎偷换概念，最为败笔。
