The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 一部份古式表達的台詞聽不懂可能要看中譯(但不想再看一次)用盡全力做的功課只是到頭來這些buff加一起不足以拯救this same old story
至于画面、故事、美术那差的更加不是一星半点。

改编自莎翁名著《麦克白》，但科恩兄给它赋予了浓重的舞台话剧风，那种一个人对着空气念拗口旁白的感觉很不对我胃口。相比而言，《蜘蛛巢城》就改编得很接地气。有黑泽明这座大山在前边挡着，其他导演还是绕道行驶吧。
怎么感觉科恩的《麦克白》不应该直接是麦克白，正如库布里克的《奥德赛》应该是《2001太空漫游》
这版的麦克白夫人被改的很有人性，死因也更加神秘
以及，最新版麦克白夫人首镜，完全就是“该她”的毫无违和感[哇]一切天注定。
4.5，极大的利用了早期德国表现主义美学风格，视听和场面调度令人赞叹，特别是一开始三个女巫的亮相简直了！可能都是黑白片的缘故，看的时候老是想到黑泽明的《蜘蛛巢城》，当然这版麦克白的演出整体也都十分精彩。至于表达层面，凭我对麦克白粗浅的了解其实看不太出启用黑人角色在文本内涵上的新意，一刷纯粹算是享受视听和表演了
大科恩的改编剧本太保守了，戏剧舞台和电影结合，台词几乎莎翁原版，剧情也好像没什么变化。还是现代改编老作品的一贯视角，所谓结构经典神话勾连现代人们的精神困境，这点倒不是乔伊斯的意识流味儿而是偏精神分析各种符号的生添硬加。

看过越多西方人翻拍的莎士比亚，就越觉得黑泽明的伟大
同样是以麦克白为蓝本，麦克白夫妇的表演远不及《蜘蛛巢城》里的三船敏郎和山田五十铃。
女配真是几句台词和几个肢体动作就秒了Denzel Wanshington和Frances McDormand
瞠目结舌的视听体验，简直是奥逊威尔斯还魂。表现主义的光影，沉重苍凉的史诗。科恩这次单飞同台竞技胜过了黑泽明和波兰斯基，华盛顿也强过三船敏郎。
