The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 故事和节奏是剧本的锅。
时间点选的恰到好处，更高更快更强的奥运精神其实在残奥会运动员身上能体现的更加励志而令人感动。在赛场上跑是个体的胜利，什么时候我们能做到“同工同酬”的这个群体的胜利？每一处情绪都踩的相当稳当，三个阶段演员的表演都很令人惊艳，尤其是少年时代，奉献了最阳光的阿伟也奉献了最燃的比赛戏。
上映时间恰逢残奥会，挺好的宣传，但叙事有点不流畅，有些情节煽情过度了。

剧情稳健，选角合适，各种好哭。剧作挺聪明的，第一幕写接力，中点后写揾食。片尾原型好帅，可惜这样完美的男孩也依旧并不是多数女孩的选择。三个年龄段的男主都演得好。音乐太满了。

没有解说，没有常规的套路，情节在这部片子像是多余的。静静地慢慢地看着一群人探索这个最大的洞穴。生老病死，自然更替，需要耐心观赏。
前20分钟睡了，后面70分钟沉浸在无对白无配乐的安静质感里，大脑没停过想着别的事情。
追逐梦想催泪感人，过于用力刻意，感觉不如老爸跑步。
吴君如的表演有层次，从泼辣的妇人变得沧桑，疮痍，世俗，崩溃。
