The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 演员很努力地在表演了 但剧作实在太普通了

故事简单，漏洞多。多两星都给廖叔，这样的演技，唉，看不到了
2019年亚洲电影节的“技术原因”，捱到现在才终见天日；感觉若非廖启智和“扫黑”大潮，也是困难。立项时对四位主演争锋斗戏的预期，被淹没为一个有些轻佻简陋的律政剧“单集案件”；其实完全可以说，这是《律政强人》“Kent”与“KC”的后续吧。

所以影片的主旨是确实有什么凌驾于法律之上，比如财富。被害人的父亲如果不是大亨，真凶就能逍遥法外？
很难相信，曾经英美法系最注重珍贵的程序正义的香港，最终选择了这个解决方案。可见，真的是，末法时代了。 学法的人一声叹息。
香港一帮老戏骨撑着勉强看完，剧本不够扎实...可惜这强大的卡司，为廖先生勉强3星
一群老戏骨，可惜故事不行啊，法庭戏太草率了。

电影的深意很足。是我最近看的电影第一部没快进的，也好不容易了
游艇上的对手戏抢眼有张力。有钱有势才能互相制衡，这不过是一场政治与经济的博弈。
所以最后赢得公理是因为有钱…看到一群老面孔真好…
完全是看演技来了。
哎…还是这么陈旧的套路，看着这些tvb老演员，有点心酸。

随着香港法制基础的加速被毁，以后这种法律撒手、权位斗法的故事，会不断上演。
实际是三星半，剧情有点平庸，结尾有点小反转，考虑到所有都是实力派演员，演技亦都在线，放在网大上映，已经算不错了。
