The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 这是我见过最温和的抢银行，这是我见过最。不害怕的人质。30年前的80年代的南非，到底是黑人说了算还是白人说了算？麦格拉在民众中的心目中的地位是如此之高。
影片场景设置有一定特点，整个剧情的发展设置在一个银行圆形大厅里，类似就像设置了一个舞台，剧情的推进也基本以舞台剧的方式，围绕着这个中心的场景发展。
这一起恐怖袭击案演变成银行劫持人质案，
结尾很奇妙的升华了主题，爱真的是美好的不分性别的情感。遗憾，谎言，背叛，又或是死亡，好青春啊。
