The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 情节比上一个剧场版平淡许多，毕竟只是讲第一层的故事，好多冲突都无法展开，画面细节度高了很多，其实根本没必要。
怒火重案 5星/100分 如果今年要让我选个国产片最佳，我选。怒火重案 ！太拳拳到肉了！看得我太紧张了！谢霆锋的反派演的太帅太霸气了！很有DC《小丑》小丑里的感觉，他没有人性，因为他心理完全变了！甄子丹则是一个老好人！影片有大量的动作戏，看的你喘不过气来，大量的血腥的场面，看的心惊胆战，一言以蔽之！这是给动作戏迷献出的一份情书！动作戏之密集让隔海相望好莱坞瑟瑟发抖
还记得看的第一部陈木胜导演作品是《冲锋队之怒火街头》，这部电影里融合了枪战、追车、爆炸、肉搏、亡命悍匪、“犯错”的精英、团队大家庭的情义、对警队制度的探讨以及正邪对立，而时至今日观看本片，发现一切竟是如此的熟悉，光影仿佛穿越了时光重叠在一起，原来陈木胜导演想讲的在25年前已经讲过，陈木胜导演所坚持的在25年间一直在坚持，陈木胜导演所拍的在25年后依然能够点燃港片及动作片爱好者的内心，叹息的是以后在大银幕上再也无法感知这股刚猛激燃的怒火，这团火只能在家用播放设备上一遍遍的重拾，燃情陈木胜导演带给我们的美好时光，正如他的导演处女作《天若有情》里歌曲所唱的：人生虽短暂，无悔共你，穿梭天边与海岸。

問題是，劇情好像和第一季有出入？算了，看SAO就不要執著在劇情上。
19年之后再看香港警匪片，全然是另一番滋味了。当制度出现问题，一颗螺丝钉还在搏命维护，这不可疑且可笑吗？差佬还有代表正义的合法性吗？渔村差佬还有重拾荣光的一天吗？“港澳”宁愿自裁都不愿意再上法庭接受审判，是渔村法律不配。【只有谢霆锋才配得上邪魅狂狷四个字而不显一丝油腻】

AMC IMAX看到SAO还要什么剧情，战斗炫酷爽就得了。虽说不要剧情，但这真是一点剧情没有啊…行吧，还是爽到了。果然一个ip只要一直出，迟早会成为情怀……
陆港合拍，亦算是陈木胜导演遗作。本子很弱，弱到剧情经不起推敲，动作倒是凌厉、干脆，有拳拳到肉的利落。摩托躲避追捕段落太过，结尾又call back杀破狼，不过是把吴京换成谢霆锋。这部里的谢霆锋演绎英气诡谲，算是个不小的看点。始终在香港警匪片模式化套路化中重复，没有哪怕一丝半点突破。
还是SAO游戏阶段好看啊！当初如果早知道动画会这么火，就应该详细拍啊，动画才多少集就结束sao 了

一个长得像桐子的紫毛mito说着和桐人一样的话之后关键时刻把亚丝娜卖了的剧情，我个人是最喜欢刀剑SAO篇的剧情（tv动画看了五遍以上），不是很吃这种硬加上的剧情，感觉很多地方表现的都很突兀，和之前tv原剧情互相矛盾，还有的地方就直接照搬原剧情，连台词都不带改（不明白为什么要给牙王安排个关西腔…）。最后片尾彩蛋明示2022年会出下一部剧场版，不难看出作者的财富密码就是一年一部SAO劇場版？【最后三分给泡澡的亚丝娜
