The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 确实非常难看的一部作品，迈克尔.贝再次突破了下限。无人机翻转运镜搞得人眼花缭乱，剧情真的让人崩溃，两个小时讲了一堆烂的不能再烂的毫无逻辑可言的GTA警匪追车大战，看得我都快被救护车带走了🚑
其实是很久不见的科幻片类型，因为大家都已经太熟悉这些剧本了，不过讲得还不错，作为商业片可以的。不过作为商业片，情感部分明显缺位，甚至连《流浪地球》都比不过，科幻要么是硬的，要么是人文的，经典的科幻片之所以永流传就在于人文的部分把控到位，本片在这方面实在是太欠缺了。拍摄手法也都过于直白，没有留白就很不艺术了。
不得不承认救护车在河里飙加上俩直升机在后面追还是算有创意了…看之前就知道全程追逐戏，但没想到故事还挺drama挺刺激，虽然bug多到数不清…而且想要表达刺激不一定非要全程摄影机抖得跟癫痫似的，有没有考虑过晕车观众的感受啊(╯‵□′)╯︵┻━┻最后一幕挺意味深长，即使是因为抢银行而被逮捕而受伤，他的妻子仍然爱他，被他误伤的警察也说是他救了自己，急救员也把偷偷带出来的钱给了他老婆。你说在这个故事里到底谁是坏人呢？其实好像不存在，甚至是疯得最厉害的丹尼也会为了弟弟把小流氓的窝端了。唉，都是不容易。
前四位主演看着都挺眼熟，名字在大脑里打转但就是说不出来。现在每看一部有熟脸孔的电影，我总要分一半精力和自己可能提前的阿茨海默症较劲。
迈克尔贝指定有点啥毛病，镜头稀碎，晃来晃去，真的快晃出脑震荡了！

我觉得挺好看的，很感人，怎么回事！被无视的“Loser”拯救世界让我有点原谅了哈莉贝瑞的镶边，结尾好好哭。
一样的套路，为什么这部能如此难看……忽略阴谋论以及是否科学，角色设定也太糟糕了吧，台词也是不及格，所有剧情转折和人物对话都无比生硬，演技居然也没有在线的。佩服热门短评，吐槽比我写得好，然后还能打两星，太善良了。
非常高阶的创意，还是头一次在电影里看到戴森球的概念；一本正经的特效，至少不比《2012》差；烂到谷底的剧情，好多支线剧情要么犹如鸡肋，没有体现出要表达的（比如男主儿子进监狱显然是描述父子关系），要么完全不知所云，比如于文文那段；啰嗦无比的台词，这个甚至不需要举例，整个130分钟都是啰啰嗦嗦的。导演一定是在致敬……向自己的前作们致敬，《独立日》，《后天》，《2012》，元素一锅端，再加上点儿《2001》和《星际穿越》元素，齐活儿。反正弄了个一锅炖，可惜火候不行，糊了。

我有个开乌龟低速车的外壳，但我有个开道奇挑战者或TRX的灵魂。充斥着纯燃油车轰鸣声的动作片，且看且珍惜。
就，很罗兰·艾默里奇……这位多少可以算个作者导演了，huh？科幻部分依旧土土的，这个AI之王的形象太没想象力了。
这个电影10年前能好点。现在美国精神面貌不奏效，特效不震惊。月球场景想象力还是可以的，而且比较聪明的避而不谈没有把真正的坏人刻画出来。最后最大的特点和缺点就是，所有情节过于紧凑，没有一刹喘息去营造合理性。
罗兰艾默里奇，退步太大了，拉胯的文戏，老套与放飞的剧情，无震撼感的特效。不如删减，把亢长无趣的130分钟变成短小精悍的90分钟，那就可以及格了。
场面很好，剧情有硬伤，忍忍吧，今年实在没什么大场面的片子。
高赞的影评写的相当好，但下面居然有个无脑喷的，难道是华谊在控评了？拍的确实烂再怎么也控不过来啊？虽然这只是一部科幻灾难片，但毫无逻辑的BUG已经严重影响到观影体验了，更别说硬塞进去一个华裔还冒出几句汉语，而且最开始看到于文文在黑珍珠家出现的时候我以为是又要玩zzzq那一套，各色人种、性别、性取向都要照顾到呢，后来硬说是交换生。。。罗兰·艾默里奇真是有点糊弄人了
论剧情论场面都不如绝地战警变形金刚之类的，鬼影特攻也至少场面有保证，这部只能说是迈克尔贝中下水准的电影，这片能有50分其中30分靠剪辑和穿越机拍摄，可能是经费实在不足吧经费足的话至少有飞机坠毁火车脱轨之类的
预期极低，意外还行，非常规灾难片，而是月球“阴谋论”，中间还剩40分钟时一度以为要脑洞大开，结果又止于AI哗变的老生常谈，剧情就好像在看星门某集AU：假设古人与replicators+纳米机器人大战失败后在不同星系留下了许多古人科技前哨站，而这个AU版里只留下了月球。不懂是不是要拍续集，地球部分滥俗，月球部分视效还是不错的。
