The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 最触动我的是拜神的那里，儿子找不到垫子，妈妈一进去就找到了，实在真实得过分。
还好是在电视上看而不是电影院，充满偏见思维，粗暴语言，生硬剧情，拖沓镜头。再多拍几部，看还有几个“外省”愿意嫁过来。
这部电影通过带女朋友回家这样一个剧情，展现了潮汕地区的风土人情，包括拜神、婚嫁观念、吃苦耐劳的精神、朴素的民风等等各个很有意思的侧面，观感很好。

结尾手持的部分救回了中间凌乱的剪辑。后面两首插曲很赞
现实生活的矛盾，妈妈看得反而没有奶奶清楚。
意外的挺好看，拍得挺真实的，有些点很有共鸣，happy ending也挺好的，希望真实中的有情人也能终成眷属，唯一的不足是妈妈思想转化铺垫有点不够，对比反对时激烈的情感，后有点突然就想开了的感觉，要是这个转变能在铺开一点就好了。

男主的妈妈真是典型的潮汕女人，既要做家务照顾老人小孩，还要挣钱攒钱给儿子娶媳妇，最重要的年头拜到年尾
对潮汕市井生活与风土人情的一次很好的还原。结尾收得很好。

难得一见国内好的喜剧片，不知道为什么觉得有台湾电影的影子。最后两个人是怎么复合的，加一个十分钟的戏就更好了！ “你妈是不是很没用”，虽然有了心理准备，还是被这句话戳到！
7.5分。很久没看到这么认真探讨代际问题的院线电影了。“妈妈”的表演撑起全片。结尾那句“妈妈是不是很没用啊”，一下子把整部片的意蕴提上去了。
