拯救他人可以安慰自己的创伤，然而事与愿违，选择直面才是最好的方式，片尾回到了监狱，就是自我疗愈的修行。鱼眼长镜头和结尾都是漂亮的戏，但是其它部分散而沉闷，女主这个人物比较尬。

没字幕听Oscar Isaac讲牌的规则我就开始困
喜欢开头和梦魇的段落，但还是是希望施拉德勇敢一点。总感觉他像布列松乖巧的徒弟。
救赎题材，拍得很克制，一切点到为止，略闷。
确实不是我喜欢的类型，还挺斯科塞斯的。最后高潮没推起来，男主以为自己被救赎了那里跟小孩一样表演出问题了
文本显而易见的脱胎于《出租车司机》，但老马丁slashing而富有delicacy的掌控力却是施拉德力所不及的。
7.5 施拉德赋予的独特气质，使其不同于其他美国电影。
偶尔的镜头非常漂亮，长时间的情节让我无法看进去。如同第一归正会大家都说好我却完全感受不到。
中段冗长而毫无调度的对话戏太多了，几乎毁灭掉了观感。其实亮点还是比较明显的，把一个高概念的娱乐性的元素解构成逃避内心阴影的手段，从算牌的桥段中得不到任何心理上的爽感，而唯一的释放恰恰是主角最终割弃牌桌直面痛苦完成自我的救赎。问题就在于后者也并没有处理得很好……
怀疑Oscar这个选角是Willem在Paul眼里的莞莞类卿
和导演之前几部片子一脉相承，charlie two chins那段乳华了妈的
施拉德用赌片，犯罪片和复仇片各自的局部模板讲了一个伊战伤痕的故事，这个点观众确实很容易盖到，但作为代价的就是叙事节奏和情节的张力了，伊萨克的表演很好，鱼眼镜头用的可以，但整体看下来，未免失望

看到监狱的部分有惊喜，但和算牌始终有点割裂，如果只讲虐囚会不会好一些？

005剧本应该吸引了演员，但实际故事组成逻辑出错了，想要拍得吸引人太难了。并且女主选角太差。
