The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 2020年2月24号，疫情最严重的时候，我曾客观地写下：
看到结尾字幕出现真是感动。看完真想拉踩一下《中国医生》，完全是痴迷于粗糙的“宏观大格局叙事”而不加节制，人物工具化得无法无天，刻意煽情泛滥。而本片，手持跟拍镜头极具表现力，朱迪科默强大的表演令人动容，剧本无处不在针砭时弊，同时人物依旧鲜活、有血有肉。无论如何，医护工作者真的很伟大。
和《引见》很像，可是冥冥之中觉得，这就是我想拍的电影啊啊啊
第1600部电影。完全在舒适圈内的创作，初看洪影片时对其语言的新奇感如今没有了，两位爱得迷醉，不知道还能这样拍多久，可能也是我变迟钝了吧。告诫自己：要虔诚地尝试进入。
私人情感也好，人和人之間尷尬的對話也好，因為太過接近於生活而令我窒息（褒），很難得的觀影感受。早知道就開字幕看了，韓語日常對話所使用的語法和詞彙在某種程度上實在是貧瘠得很，還會聽到好幾位演員的口癖，更窒息了。。
以及终于知道洪常秀有多爱金敏喜了，有金敏喜出场的地方影片的调子就变得明快清晰，拍金敏喜拍的绝美，还有各种用来秀恩爱的情节设置……
在感慨现实的同时，也感叹于这种人与人之间不计回报的真情实感。
没有小说，也没有电影，只有梦境。像个三重现实梦境，简单又贴近生活，有的只是发现生活的小美好和跟随心。

时至今日再看，还是能回想起当时弥漫在整个世界的夹杂着彷徨无助和自我麻痹的末日气息。我想面对疾病束手无策的绝望感我是明白的，Judy值得一个奥斯卡。
这才应该是我们的方向，不是吗？同样的背景和题材，一些人在反思我们哪里还做的不够好，一些人告诉你没有我你会更糟糕。
这是一部瓦解电影的电影，对于传统影像叙事结构的瓦解，对于商业电影行为的瓦解，在不断的解构的过程中拼凑出日常，言语中隐晦或直白的矛盾冲突，通过无数日常的非日常舒缓的展示一个梦中梦，影中影，无时无刻的过曝提醒着观众黑白影像的真实性，实则是一场梦，而观看的电影则是更真实的写照，这是一封待缓缓开启的情书，讲的就是那唯美斑斓世界的三个字“我爱你”
