The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 其实结局在老两口一起做寿衣那儿已经能猜到了，各个诗意片段单独截出来都还可以，但放到这个故事节奏环境下略显生硬。

画面和音乐还行，但是剧本….美人鱼这么好的故事底子，怎么能改编得这么烂….
制作有多叼，剧情就有多孬，大可不必啊，真的大可不必，这么个末世背景，这么个制作，你就是喵帕斯日常，也比跑酷＋海的女儿好看啊！
最惊艳的片尾卷轴式的摇镜——物质现实瓦解的精神层面纬度，纯粹的时间密度和时间记忆，可以看到很多老塔的影子
整个剧看完给你的感受大概就是：哇，画面好好看…哇，建筑好好看…哇，歌曲好好听。哇，剧情剧情在哪里。总结看了等于没看。
画面五颗星，音乐四星半，剧情负八星，加在一起四舍五入一颗星
中国版的《爱》，最后几个镜头及其相似。但是代入的是中国家庭之间所有人的承受，对养育的和解脱的表现。女儿感情戏部分不佳，最后三十分钟跟上配乐和长廊/呼吸等符号互文还是很美妙的。小说改编，画面掌控力不错。
算是日式新版的小美人鱼吧。
