The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 很多隐喻和意象不太明白，但不影响整体的理解，即使不关注故事视听效果也能让人全神贯注两小时。完全不是惊悚片，预告片有欺骗性。
骑士精神的试炼，附着精液的腰带，美德的丢失与重拾，诡异与不详的氛围，美术与摄影考究。Dev 这个印裔骑士也没有很出戏，毕竟印度人本就是大英帝国的子民hh.

形而上的说法：如何成为大写的人；通俗点的说法：妈宝成长记。视听语言美丽，巨人部分略感动。
拍得挺好，仔细一琢磨，故事真无聊。我管你骑士光荣不光荣，憋了半天终于要面对死亡了，看你表现好把你给放了。这跟小时候老师看你捣蛋之后认错态度端正不叫家长了有什么区别？男人就尊严这点破事，讲来讲去还没讲够吗。
我真的好喜欢A24的电影，尽管很多都并没有真的那么出色。但其独特的风格和精湛的制作，以及文艺或诡谲的色彩都太抓我心了。
本来就是拍动物的电影，你们都注意里边的人干啥呢？人只是陪衬
A24可以成为这种影像风格代名词了，用各种神迹和隐喻去表达似是而非的宿命和抉择，世事不过一场游戏。
高文在被砍下头颅之前的一刹那，仿佛看到了因为自己的退缩而导致失败的一生，于是鼓起勇气的他决心遵守骑士的誓言。
【2.5】依旧拥有A24的独立调性：一种纵使风格千变万化但仍以优秀审美和求异心理所延续的精神。可惜本片不成体系的符号植入过多，节奏亦在拖累，让本应赏心悦目的风格之旅在某些时刻显得无比滞重。大卫·洛维的能力自然是不高，说句俗套的话叫只有佳句而无佳章。回头看去，《鬼魅浮生》更像个美丽的意外。
