The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 一个丧女的登山妈妈来救援一个失恋的大男孩的故事，实际是2个失去希望的人通过不同的寻死方式，最终找到了继续活下去的理由。最好看的部分也就最后十分钟的样子，2人的碰面对话，来解释2个人的心理状态和变化。

全片都在心疼女主，不过最后终究把渣男给送进了监狱。
剧情俗套到你可以全程不开字幕。听着完全不懂的法语都能了解整个故事走向。作为调剂看看还不错
孤独的老母亲在暴风雪的当天登山救了一个神经病，然后回家泡了个澡。观众能坚持到泡澡已经不容易了，在即将放弃观看的时候揭开悬念升华主题，只能说编剧对于真实事件的还原超越了影片本身的观赏性设计。画面很美丽，摄影很讲究，事件很真实，剧本很吊诡。
