In 1865, during the siege of Richmond, Virginia, the union soldiers POW Captain Harding, Neb and Herbert escape in a balloon during a storm with two confederate prisoners, Sergeant Pencroft and the journalist Spilett. The uncontrollable wind takes the balloon to a mysterious island in the South Pacific in the area of New Zealand. Captain Harding self-proclaims the leader of the group and they look for food; sooner they discover that they are stranded in an island. Further, they are attacked by a giant crab that becomes their first meal. Along the days, they build a shelter and finds that the island is inhabited by giant animals. A couple of days later, they find two castaways on the beach, the aristocratic Lady Mary Fairchild and her sexy niece Elena. Later they find a trunk with weapons and instruments like sextant and shelter with a journal of a man left alone in the island by pirates. When the pirate vessel arrives in the island, they are helped by Captain Nemo of the Nautilus, a submarine that had supposedly sunk in the coast of Mexico eight years ago. 这个看不懂不知道是我没了解相关知识，还是编剧就是如此讲故事。
美术很赞，别出心裁的打光、巧妙的构图，舒适的色彩，这是一部为电影院而生的电影。艺术感浓烈，风格诡谲，是A24的味。可惜剧情实在是欣赏不来，更谈不上史诗。舒缓的节奏加上阴郁的情绪很催眠，一不小心就睡了…
虽然情节有点超现实，但是道理是不错的，爱心和同情心超越人类和动物的界限。
仍然是我最爱的David Lowery，审美满分！有几个让人惊喜的镜头。看了下原作的故事，电影的改编还是挺成功的，能不断让人解读深究。没有天生的骑士，一个懦弱的、不完美的普通人完全可以达成greatness，即使一次次跌倒，你永远可以在下一个选择中成为骑士。而这个决定性的选择，即是你能直面自己脆弱之时，反而因此得着重生、自由、与荣耀。Amen!
略有失望，并没有初看预告时的惊艳，只有邂逅巨人那段有感觉
绿衣骑士的布景，道具，服装，配乐绝了.特别是灯光！那灯打的太美了.
饶了我吧，上年纪了真看不动这么故弄玄虚的片子了……

摄影美术太精美了，令人陶醉，成功构筑了一个瑰丽的亚瑟王时代。整个故事塞了众多奇幻神话情节，但结尾一段成功让叙事摆脱执着于“奇幻构建”与“隐喻设计”的创作欲望，把故事从悬浮缥缈拽回到一个男孩精神成长史诗，很有力道，发人深省。片中短发的和深V的艾丽西亚都好美。本片也让我第一次成功get到戴夫帕特尔。

这调调戳我，一定要看杜比视界版，跟SDR版完全是两部电影。
129分钟45秒 23.976fps 流媒体WEB 电影比较晦涩难懂，看到最后才会明白，高文爵士赴约的经历其实就是骑士精神塑造的历程。
这部电影来说，镜头摄影都让我感到美极，故事和节奏却较为晦涩。看过电影后拜读了一些解析和背景故事才懂了大意。
作为电影感觉可能差强人意但是抛开表现手法来说故事原本的意象扩充做的其实可圈可点。
只想要爽片和动作大场面的观众还是洗洗睡吧，感觉看了个寂寞。重述骑士童话，美术无可挑剔，玄之又玄的宗教氛围感十足；但是节奏灰暗、缓慢，内容空洞，台词不伦不类，看不到人物的性格、情感和成长，人物塑造极其失败。到了最后的砍头那里，看得人心里着急死了：磨叽什么，快砍啊快砍啊！

没看过原著，就电影来说，没有哪个章节的内容能让我完全入戏，知道一路是试炼，但是展现的没头没脑，直观就是：怎么回事？ 进入下一章。 唯一拍的好的地方是夜里溪流反射在绿衣骑士脸上的光
