The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 整体挺chill out，通俗版Terrence Malick能成新一代的鸡汤配方倒是没想到。
又细腻又克制，孤独且温柔。像看纪录片一样，真喜欢。
人有多种活法，选择自己喜欢的方式就好。别人能不能理解你的孤独，不重要。
居无定所、安居乐业、游牧民、西部开拓者……从美国传统来看，有些灵魂是注定“被流浪”的。当一类矛盾与民族性紧密关联时，它的化解本身就是矛盾了。
有点失望，要不是女主的演技，实在无法忍受废柴般的镜头。
又细腻又克制，孤独且温柔。像看纪录片一样，真喜欢。

悲歌唱成赞歌，凄丽柔美纪录，既然决定上路，就只顾风雨兼程吧，我们路上见！
今年的NYFF有点可怜，但是Nomadland在汽车影院观影体验可能更胜于传统影院。一个无依的人，串起更多漂泊的故事。科恩嫂的克制，广袤的风景，自然的音乐，观感很舒适。对于赵婷这是又一次突破，对于公路片，似乎也没有什么新意。Drive-in观影加一星

期待已久 为了看它专门续了hulu的费 对这些nomads的处境非常sympathetic了 但电影是不是过于浪漫化了“游牧”的乐趣？
偶然摧折或自然地老去
一个中国导演能拍出这样的片子很不错。有时让我想起瓦尔达。不过把丧亲之痛与寻求自由的人生态度混在一起谈，有些重心不明确。
配乐太妙了……
配乐毁了Frances McDormand的表演，空镜很像国家地理，这部片子真的走入那些游牧者的心了吗？
3.具有相似性：t house、断舍离
借用了一个美国的故事来讲述一种非常普遍的生活选择和方式，每个在路上的人应该都能感受到相似的情感；人们总因为各种原因上路，在快递仓库与自然美景、房子与van之间，不断挣扎又喘息，可能真是上路了，而能更深刻体会到这种感受，有时候，有些情绪无处言说；赵婷还真是挺厉害的，情感把控很到位，平和也可以很有力量。

诗般安静温柔，多是温暖与美好，糅杂着伤感。与家人的两段对白说明她必须离开的理由；与Bob的对白高度概括了她的爱情，也是源自独特又笃定的价值观。很多人和车的背部单独出现在中间的画面。最喜欢的情节，是没回去牵走那只狗，这与救猫咪方法背道而驰，足见赵婷对人物和自身的信心。
