The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 看得非常疑惑，既然已经拿出过《完美的世界》，又何必把“父子”上路的情节再拍一遍，还编排得如此笨拙？最要命的是，这是一部不服老的电影，而老牛仔已经比《爱尔兰人》还要步履蹒跚，却仍要逞强驭马。东木明明在《骡子》里给自己留下了一个体面的结局，又用《理查德·朱维尔的哀歌》证明了导演技艺的稳健，但《哭泣的男人》完全是破功之作，不过九十岁老人的进取心终究值得一个瑞思拜。
东木老爷子的新电影，且看且珍惜。他和我姥姥一样年纪，今年91岁了，看的时候不免会代入感很强，看到他手上的老年斑，莫名的心疼。和男孩在墨西哥边远小镇度过的一段时间，弥补了天伦之乐，每个人缺失的家庭温暖都在那段时光都被充盈。男孩和老人的相处复刻了完美世界的光景，但又有不一样的感动，东木在电影里的那段话，仿佛是借着人物表达自己的想法。结局很好，他回去找他需要守护的人了，真好。
老头超过九十岁了吧？做导演功力还在，做演员真替他捏把汗！
这岁数了还拍呢。确实是没有哪个时刻是情绪到谷底的，或者角色面临真正的逆境。其他都挺好。小男孩挺上镜。
一无既往地教育观众做个好人，期待下一部。。（淘宝可以买到片里的那个重要道具，搜“压饼器”，但好像不能压很薄的饼。）

轻松，随和，令人愉悦，影像的力量和舒缓的节奏缓慢地释放着影片的真挚感情。希望东木老爷保重身体，以后有机会继续拍出自己想拍的电影啊！

终究比第一部差一点，最后结尾稍微肉麻了些，其他部分都很好，还是希望能有下一部
给画质加一星真滴好牛！但是烂得彻底，看前几分钟就忍不下去了，谁都喜欢不来的，这要是还有第三部真的是不要脸了简直就是灾难
