The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 跟戛纳邪典佳作《钛》比起来简直就是东施效颦后的尴尬作品，看得人昏昏欲睡，口味不够重，剧情还稀碎，可惜了维果的演技（不是）和蕾雅的肉体，小K更是大概率连自己都不知道在演个什么东西，白白浪费了两个小时。。。
明显银子花的颇少，没弄出来啥科幻感，全靠灯光布景做成屏幕黑，还有蹩脚的喂饭高科技摇椅和解剖机，，，，
有一星是给那个缝闭眼口、浑身是耳的表观效颦者，跳了一段听话跟走的提线木偶舞。
艺术或许是没有意义的、宗教是没有意义的
非常奇观，但又高度的形而上。讨论的主题很前卫，元素很丰富，场面很惊悚，可解读的空间很大，只是观影体验实在不好，虽然能够平静地观影完毕，有些场景总还是会造成生理上的不适，进而迷惑了对影片的理解，也许是太多东西没有get到吧

4.5。廉頗老矣，尚能飯否？失卻了在感官刺激層面的部分鋒芒後，柯南伯格仍舊將自身對於面向未來的「人」之定義的思考，系統地呈現在這部論文式的《慾望號快車》的精神續作。儘管本片未能真正實現突破既有感官束縛的超感官體驗，卻依然堅定地為人類中心主義立場書就悲歌。結尾宛如《聖女貞德蒙難記》的特寫神蹟再臨。
