The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 影像风格上极力靠近上世纪电影的质感，摄影构图、布景有点布列松极简主义的味道，两位老戏骨台词功力无可挑剔，算是众多改编版本中比较出彩的一部。
这样的话一年能改很多部戏剧为电影啊
台词还是值得品咂的，直观地感受到了莎翁的魅力
画面和风格很不错，但是情节方面可能只适合不怎么熟悉《麦克白》的观众。
这是话剧吗？科恩为什么拍莎士比亚？没必要拍。
艺术气息和舞台剧和形式过重 大段大段晦涩飘忽的对白 就很沉闷了。

觉得很高大上的表演，然而不好看。。。。无论是情节还是单调枯糙的背景，当然，还是能看的。
把舞台剧直接搬上大荧幕大概就是这样了，摄影真是绝了，不过总觉得丹泽尔华盛顿有种违和感

摄影美术服化道和表演都是顶级的水准，为颁奖礼而生的那类电影。肯定不难看，但没啥感觉。
影调与非常刻意的“棚拍”结合得很好，莎翁的古英文独白被大量保留。科恩这次改编总的来说是保守的，更多地去还原了戏剧舞台的力量。
怎么感觉科恩的《麦克白》不应该直接是麦克白，正如库布里克的《奥德赛》应该是《2001太空漫游》
mise en scene真的酷死了，但是表演、台词、叙事整个拼到一起就说不出来的奇怪很不对味。
还有多少人能够接受莎翁的对白和戏剧的风格呢。
善良脆弱的人莫作恶，内心的煎熬已足够惩处。宿命论调的无力与神圣，包裹过权力的诱惑。被异化的人。
麦克白和其夫人看起来极其mentally healthy，半点鬼胎也不怀，整部电影看完怕是能得出黑人因为种族歧视才当不上国王的结论
科恩兄弟掰了之后老大个人的第一部，德国表现主义的视觉构成仍然承载着黑色电影的内核。取景之逼仄，近身肉搏的高超调度，给人近在眼前的舞台感。女巫太强大，技压群芳，过目不忘。反倒是饰演麦克白夫妇的两个老戏骨自信得过了头，与沉溺于疯狂偏执之中的角色略微不合。乔尔牛逼！
没看过其他版本的，至少这个版本我看着质感非常不错，相当震撼。
