The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 这是一部猎奇、诡异、血腥、惊悚、重口、令人作呕、且充满无穷想象力的“定格动画”。但是全程无对白，剧情也极为晦涩杂乱，感觉就是导演玩疯了，然后还把观众看懵了。如果是短片可以这样炫技，但这是电影，讲好故事才是首要任务。

不过影片过于片段式的处理使得故事性较弱，整体的堆砌感很浓，观看过程不免犯困。

你看到草扎小人的不幸，你以为自己可以置身度外；你被抓住并被解剖，你以为自己只是倒霉，但其实你自始至终都是生产链上的一环。
历史的框架下试图用双方立场的两个好友切入讲故事限制还是挺多的吧。
Bizzare. 奇幻诡异，光怪陆离的视觉错乱和感官冲击，前半部分片长cult的塑造噩梦维度，使得观众的恐惧极度无限实体化，诡异的造型和夸张极限的造型令观众非常不适，第二三章有序切换为对现实战争的极限嘲讽和极端视觉层次展示，隐约可见的反战主题和混乱秩序缔造的恐怖幻想天才动画之作
定格动画实验片，想象力邪恶而夸张，唯一的意义可能是，展示自己作为电影工业的一环，有多极致吧
太邪乎了，被各种恶心恶心着。当以为会出现赛博朋克时，呈现在眼前的却是巨大事物恐惧症。而且这画风……也是醉了。要是看完片子就一个感觉：人真不是个东西。

而当下疫情与战争双重危机下末世感更浓，只能祈求别让寓言变成预言。
手术台上的钟表越走越慢、中世纪风的乌鸦医生握着婴儿飘进迷宫、结满蛛网的石像眼球转动，爆炸是宇宙的尽头也是开端……虽然总体风格脏乱cult，但有好几个意象我都超喜欢。
前：风格好像挺独特的。哦，好。
不说其他，单就这牛逼闪闪的设定和自成体系的世界观。这片形象就是直接面向观众生理，怎么恶心，怎么肮脏怎么来，因此极具挑衅性，它因此挑人，挑它自己的思考者。
反战、反乌托邦、反托拉斯、渎神……等等？元素过多，没看懂。
