The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 本片的片名来自他的另一部同名音乐剧，虽然我不太爱看音乐舞蹈片，但这部电影里的表演和歌曲还是挺有感染力的，因为他的歌曲内容大部分来自他自己的生活，所以他的成功因此而改变了音乐剧的定义。
错过，放弃，丢失，他像是Rent里所有角色的和，一无所获却也应有尽有。
其实整部电影都在讲，为什么是他，也只能是他写出Rent。

给纽约theatre and theatre junkies的一封情书。central park delacorte theatre, ny theatre workshop，playwrights horizons...全都是戏剧生活里忘不掉的回忆。正值Sondheim老爷子忌日，theatre legends们出来唱Sunday一段，看得直掉眼泪-对我来说，全剧唯一精华。之前workshop出现的作曲家和作家，也都是真实的theatre创作者们。对Jon本人的剧没什么感觉（音乐实在不感冒），这一部TTB也稍显幼稚粗浅。可是贵在真情。Andrew演的Angels in America可作为90年代AIDS事件的补充拓展，那剧是真有深度和灵魂。。
作为一部musical，music不好是原罪
get不到。正如许多人吐槽的，口水歌无法引发共鸣。
对音乐剧也谈不上兴趣
这电影看的我几度哽咽，我可能是有问题了，希望是更年期，希望早点好起来。

讲述可以说改变现代音乐剧形式的天才剧作家乔纳森拉森的人物传记片，他却也没能逃脱早逝的命运。
以及桑爷爷是神——虽然这话甚至不用特别说出来。

其实像是这种传记片看完之后我的第一反应都会是有一些无聊，因为当你不了解人物原型还要当故事片看的时候就会显得非常容易乏味，尤其是作为一部音乐电影其实歌曲也就那样，不得不说略有一些失望

加菲真的有才，从战争片硬汉到穿梭市井的超英，再到为梦想的癫狂音乐剧作者都能驾驭。重重叠叠的阿卡贝拉加适时切入的其他乐器真的很爽。“剧作家就是要一部接着一部写作品，希望能有所回应。继续创作吧，孩子，写你熟悉的东西。”
