　　"Veteran experimental filmmakers Danielle Huillet and Jean-Marie Straub helmed this unusual adaptation of a novel by Elio Vittorini. Focused on the triumphs and failures of a group of laborers and farm hands who pooled their resources to operate an alternative collective farm after the end of World War II, Operai, Contadini features a cast of 12 actors who read aloud from Vittorini's book for the duration of the film, either reciting from memory or using a clearly visible script. Hardly designed to be a crowd pleaser, Operai, Contadini proved to be controversial among the audiences for its showings at the 2001 Cannes Film Festival, where it was screened as part of the Directors' Fortnight series." ~ Mark Deming, All Movie Guide
　　"The group makes up a primitive community which seeks to erase not only the distress created by the war but also the hardships of life and hunger, and to protect them from violence, misery and fear.     巴黎版的请回答1988。即便有爱，即便随时看得到美丽，也还是孤独。看望了女儿以后，母亲偎在儿子的背上吹着夜风回家那个镜头真是过目难忘。听着唱片四人相拥而舞，viva avec moi(不知听对了没有)，内心似也有一种旋转的错觉。困顿，倦怠，几乎绝望麻木的生活，因为深夜电台的抚慰和被抚慰，收留流浪的孩子，而慢慢改变着。彼此都是生命中的过客，予你我成长，予你我温存。Caring creates resilience. It always works.

    虽然很平，故事其实也没什么新意，但是！！整部片子的基调好温柔，好放松，遇到事儿纠结一下哭两下就顺其自然随遇而安的处事哲学太美好了，嘀咕一句ah bon生活会继续，也许不真实，也许只是刻意的侧重，那又如何呢？（私心请所有德国人每年去法国两天学习一下如何放松再回来哈）Gainsbourg真的太美了，越老越美。回家的路上一直在哼Dassin的si tu n'existais pas。。。另外看到Rivette的le pont du nord里的Bulle Ogier，刚好这次也出演Denis的avec amour et acharnement，Denis拍过Rivette的纪录片，还有Béart也是Rivette的la belle noiseuse的女主 #Berlinale72
