剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances.     作为LMM的处女作完成度很高，加菲的表演飞跃令人惊喜，确实是对标爱乐之城的电影，一样拍三十岁前年轻人追梦的处境，一样有很多对于经典的致敬，也……不得不说，一样的通俗，感染力来自于故事外部而非故事内部。爱乐之城的感染力来自于观众自身经历和情感的代入，而这部则更针对本身就对宽街有情怀的音乐剧观众，剧情和人物本身有很多单薄的、甚至是悬浮的地方，脱离了更为真实具体的挣扎（譬如90年代艰难的LGBT运动，包括舞台上的和舞台下的），显得中二有余但悲壮不足。

    其实不如说是一部加菲的粉丝献礼片，什么都有。搞艺术的人的故事总是大同小异，总是离不开和生活中的贫穷、死生病痛较劲，总是不免在爱中错失，总是会选择放弃理想化而向商业屈服。Rent那种风格一直是我不太喜欢的，所以无法全情投入。倒还是频频戳中了。
