上手经典进行大胆的诠释与更新，各版期望传递的讯息、选角思路以及具体背景各不相同；但灵魂依然是对权欲的无边渴望与心魔诱惑之下的失控。最出彩的是用极简的方式想象另个时空之下的皇室，空荡的走廊、由高墙和钢筋立柱树立的王位“监狱”还有仿佛没有尽头的门框…这里如此冰冷，仿佛可以吞噬所有。透过这些装置的感受，不断地与熟稔许多的故事交融；泽帝让人又爱又恨，这里是前半部分。

欲望本身无罪，一辈子就这么短，哪个人也不应该承受艾滋，戴套吧，悠着点吧。特洛耶希文长得也太美好了以至于我认为主角应该是积极的，等待总是难熬，况且是三个月的等待，到底有没有那该死的艾滋，到底是过好现在还是计划好将来，没关系，有人陪着，能好好面对还是充满希望。

印象中是第一次看莎翁舞台劇形態的電影，覺得演釋得比一般同樣改拍的戲劇好些，但也不見得有什麼令人激賞之處。

巫婆演得特别好，但是片子选角、表演、美术、摄影有严重的错置感。内容还是莎翁，但形式上却严重过载。说是看了部电影，其实是看了部戏剧，但仔细一琢磨我可能是看了个PPT（大误）
