The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 一面微笑一面泪流满面在音乐剧里是稀有体验，更像是属于罗杰斯和汉末斯坦的时代。但私以为，CFA和音乐之声这种剧存在的意义，就是告诉你，人可以做出多可怖的事就可以做出多美好的事。世界可以像911的纽约，也可以像911的Gander。
主题、演员、音乐、灯光、色调，全部完美，角色转换更是牛得没话说。这么短的时间凝聚了这么多种感情，同时没有违和感和生硬感，太强了。

虽然电影的音效远没有现场表演来的有感染力，但是在镜头语言上得到了弥补…看完emo了一会儿，已经不记得上次进剧场是看了什么剧了😭

看完甚至有点庆幸因为疫情取消巡演被退票了，剧不好看，更不好听，几个演员一人分饰多角，我真的会错乱。中间我一度迷失了，这还是音乐剧吗？音乐在哪里？剧情无聊，唱段很少且毫无亮点，就记住了一句 I am an islander，现在的新剧都是这种水准了吗
