The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 好久没看这类型的电影了，很多泪点，很多触动，又翻起来从小到大内心里对父母的依恋，害怕经历人生无常，害怕经历爱离别，害怕无法让父母满足幸福，害怕对父母留有遗憾未能表达出的爱。。。。太多太多了

又是一部凑齐大咖拍烂片的电影，很老套的故事，韩志文美女你怎么接这种要拆散别人的恶女剧本🥺李光洙好像演什么都一个样子，也可能是接的都是这样畏畏缩缩的角色，允儿很美，姜河那这个屌丝气质也是蛮足的，一出场贴快递单那，头甩的这么有劲，有点搞笑，就是说真的这么干活的话脖子还能要吗？全场吻戏由李栋旭和元真儿包办了哈哈哈哈，这对的爱情线也是很老套的霸道总裁爱上我
酒店背景下，平凡又有点老套的几个爱情/友情故事，不过作为贺岁片看还是觉得很温馨～每条线都有一个大牌撑着很养眼，智敏欧尼太美啦！
而这部就是看了四五个老套的故事，强行博大家一笑和感动一下观众。

14人14色的罗曼史即将展开，爱情故事感觉就很浪漫，当然是温馨，韩国新年快乐，在新的2022一年永远都要开开心心，一起渡过浪漫的年末！
生病带来的痛楚。对于一个平民来说还是很致命的
揭示了一个人最终的结果！一个人的一生始终在等待，夏天的母亲在等待夏天的爸爸，而夏天的爸爸也一直在等待死亡！ 😭
平平淡淡的，反正也还好，类似于《真爱至上》
一个顽皮的男孩长大后成了黑帮，在妻女车祸丧生后，愈发堕落残忍，终于引来了仇家的报复，侥幸逃生并反复仇后，看破红尘，主动找茬让新一代小混混捅死，颇为黑色幽默。开头的一段长镜头牛逼，不知道咋拍出来的，看不出破绽。
姜河那承包了全片的笑点
见识到了开场十二分钟的长镜头，二十年弹指一挥间，导演在时间的处理上非常好。又一个人被时间改变的故事，最后的每一刀都是救赎。
李东旭那对最魔幻脱节，老奶奶和老爷爷的故事有些温情，光洙说到在石直接让我泪奔
夏建国的老伴侍侯了得老年痴呆的夏建国十几年，最终选择跟老伴一起去面对死亡的结局。让人感动同时又引人深思，原来现代也有梁山伯和祝英台的传奇爱情。
好几场戏都挺真实的，泪点在夏天梦中唱着儿歌，让父亲解脱。
