The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 到底是有多少人看不出来这是改编自《傲慢与偏见》的。。。。。还在那说剧情cliche，能不cliche吗，19世纪初的小说，你怎么不说傲慢与偏见cliche呢？
大厂还是没能沉下心来去拍一部同志爱情喜剧，拍得是肤浅且老套。都2022年了，当大厂拍爱情喜剧时，尽管是同志题材，依然还是那些沿用了几十年的常规套路，且也没拍出真挚动人的感觉，只让人觉得无聊。至于《傲慢与偏见》现代同志版这个创意，想法也ok，也拍出了傲慢和偏见，却没拍出内核，傲慢与偏见的内因是什么？无从探究，只有皮相。大厂无心去琢磨同志群体真实的困境与梦幻，只是为了欢乐而欢乐，为了抒情而抒情，像是程序里设定好的，几分几秒该做什么就给你什么，缺少了故事内部的强大驱动力，自然也就打动不了人。

Does everybody have to be so bitchy and mean? Does everything have to be around sex? What exactly does this movie try to tell me? Starting to worry about the mental issues of American gay guys.
不过整个叙事过程中确实重点和角度出了问题，Noah的旁白贯穿始终，又反复在自己和Howie之间横跳，情感力度始终有点打不到人，略微可惜了。

It’s the mostly romantic atmosphere that attracts me. Maybe I’m not so accustomed to that kind friendship. But I yearn for that kind relationship between lovers. The songs are pretty good, maybe added to my favorite playlist. Btw, Will is my type, haha.
看过僵尸版的Pride& Prejudice后，感觉基佬版的挺无聊的……整体质感太像综艺了

影片是历史真实事件改编，虽说是冒险题材，但中心并没有放在荒野求生，冰原探险上面，甚至没有宏大的风景与特效加持。重点则放在了人物内心刻画与背负艰巨使命的执着感。
