有神秘感，好演员。让观众能够跟随电影的情节。ptsd很可怕，参与其中的每个人都是受害者。
男主毁灭式的复仇太牵强，小孩不过是认识没多久。讲扑克又不花笔墨在扑克上，两头不到位。
感情上来说，非常温吞，感觉会是一场大雨，结果最后只是一场毛毛雨。本片的唯一看点大概是Oscar Isaac，刮了胡子，梳着背头，又是另外一种魅力。

这部电影的气质非常迷人，能够让人完全沉浸到保罗·施拉德的故事节奏里，稳、准、酷而且有着足够的沉淀，奥斯卡·伊萨克也是无比正确的选角。四星。
保罗施拉德的镜头我还是爱的，但是这故事节奏慢的我都忍不了，结尾还能更拖吗，以及男女主毫无化学反应。看看Oscar isaac大概是唯一的意义
