The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 科幻外壳下的温情片，人始终在学习的是道别。
对影片中的科幻元素还是蛮…无奈的。太多《黑镜》的风格化的设定，导致最后的成片会让我感觉有些索然无味。也只有Ali的表演才能唤醒我的兴趣
聚焦於很小的切口上去展示這頗具顛覆性的設想，不置入太多的批判，只是讓兩個他去互相感知對方。男主內心的糾結與傷感，仿生人害怕被淘汰的恐慌，整個作品的命題，我們活著是為了他人還是自己？ 太棒了。
到底我们彼此之间的真情实感可不可以被复制？

整体立意并没有特别打动我，但还是很喜欢片尾那句台词：
马赫沙拉的演技真的太好了 他一哭我这边就也要抽纸巾
一个我将永远离你而去 另一个我则一直陪在你身边
克隆人替本體去生活……
克隆人的老主题，抛开了法律、伦理问题，聚焦在卡梅隆的情感、心理。对卡梅隆来讲，杰克永远都是克隆人、不是真正的自己，杰克背负秘密、还有卡梅隆对妻子坦陈秘密后的未来隐患。全片极简风格，透露出一种哀伤的美感，Ali表演加分。

没有猎奇式的阴谋和反转，就是讲述科技如何以人为本的温暖故事。

4.5-从《廊桥遗梦》哭到《天鹅挽歌》。不去深究那些深刻的伦理观念，重要的是我爱你，我还能继续爱你。

中间有说到之前的病人.... 我突然想到，要是最后发现他老婆也是克隆人就好玩儿了...
当近端科幻切入到人文关怀与家庭伦理这样的敏感题材，胜在处理的细腻真挚。那在任何一段关系中，被人替代总是不好受的。
有点像之前看过的一个短片的风格（忘了叫什么），人物描述很细腻，简单的故事在每处以为反转的时候都没有反转，朴实得有点可贵，可能我们已经很长时间不再相信真情实感了吧。
