The IMAX "Cosmic Voyage" film was made as a public service with sponsorship by the Smithsonian Air and Space museum. On DVD, borrowed from my local public library, it plays at just over 30 minutes with Morgan Freeman supplying a pleasing narrative. As one would expect from an IMAX film, the image quality is superb and the Dolby 5.1 sound track is very well done. Simulated cosmic explosions shake your walls! That is, if you have a good powered subwoofer in your system. The film takes a very useful approach to examining the size of the universe, from tiny sub-atomic particles to the vastness of the whole universe. (Fortunately, when God created the Universe he had dispatched a few angels with video cameras at different vantage points so we get to see actual footage from several billion years ago.) The film starts in Venice, where the discovery of the telescope originated, and uses a one-meter hoop as a reference point, then gradually goes larger by powers of 10, e.g. 10 meters, 100, 1000, etc until we can see the whole universe. Then it takes the opposite journey, going smaller by powers of 10 until be see inside sub-atomic particles. The story is well-woven with beautiful effects created especially for this film. It is entertaining and educational at the same time. All of "oldsters" can enjoy it for the scientific history we are already familiar with, and all the "youngsters" can enjoy it for the educational supplement it provides. Overall a masterful film. Any numerical "rating" of "Cosmic Voyage" is meaningless. If one is looking for a superb film about our universe and modern theories of its formation, this one is hard to beat. 编剧物理老师的问题已经不能算槽点了，前几年剧情拉胯的时候编剧的物理老师也没复活啊。 PS：仔细想想去年直接鸽一年的情况下，这一部实际上准备时间有2年，如果明年还能做好才说明这个新组确实有能耐。
首先想跟翻译说一声，妈妈的兄弟叫舅舅——不是叔叔。//然后想说，片名被翻译成《呼朋引伴》简直八竿子打不着。//这是一部关于理解，沟通的影片。如果满分按五星记，片里小朋友的烦人程度大概是3.5星，足以成为部分观众的避孕宣传片。
假借社会记录的语气，对城市的边缘进行了一次细腻的审视。孩子用早慧的视角探索成人世界的距离和单调，男人用对未来的想象对观众呼唤。自然光线和故事文本赋予了城市一种属于二十世纪的、怀念的美感，让私人的情感在庞杂的文学中找到位置、变得永恒。
最后，它有我所有看过的作品中最吸引人的片尾。完毕。

今年的柯南金手指更粗了😂但是确实是近年来觉得比较不错的一部
充满了哲思的童言童语，学会倾听去化解家庭关系的摩擦与代际，黑白影调特别纯粹，镜头下的美帝竟有欧陆的美，小演员很出彩，文艺独立电影的调调。
可能有基于导演自身经历的部分所以还蛮生动 在没带过孩子之前谁能想到一个小家伙能有那么难带呢//大概是基于故事的生活调性 表演和摄影都充满了生活感 而黑白的色调又让整体离生活稍微远了一点点 纽约的城市感在这种半远不远生活的状态下被营造了出来
看着很舒服的一部电影，完全没有感觉到无聊。
相比前几部，虽然也有很多槽点，但讲了一个完整且还算不错的故事。稍微找到点最初剧场版的感觉。
Mike Mills的片子总是如此，影像质感十分出众，但是气质又相对独立，以至于在颁奖季会显得有些曲高和寡。但anyway，说不上为什么，静静看完，明明似乎什么都没有说，却觉得获得了某种疗愈。至少在当下，personally，我很需要这样一部片子。也是我今年颁奖季目前最喜欢的一部片子。
