The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 缺少了台词的幽默，没什么意思，5分钟弃剧。
幼稚的画风和特别理智的情绪：不刻意敌视高材生，不盲目宣扬普通人。看到最后突然很喜欢正男。
风间真的太适合这种小反面角色了！
这一部在近几年剧场版里属于水平不错的，小新没有了超级主角光环，妮妮、正男、阿呆、风间、小新，每个小孩都有自己的“精英”定位。像是在回答我们，如果有一天蜡笔小新长大了会怎样，他们会变吗？何必管那么多，立足当下就好，当下即是青春。
青春是曾经拥有，是就在当下，是自备感，是爱自己，是爱那些无意义的事物，是fire！春日部防卫队的友情真好啊，结尾马拉松太燃又好哭
朋友总是会离去，总有那么一天，总有各种各样的事，因为更珍惜，所以才想永远走下去。和你们认识这是第七年了吧，未来能走的多远呢？
只有蜡笔小新
中间断案的部分还挺好玩的。蜡笔小新现在最有料的不是小新自己——他那个调调大家早就见怪不怪了——而是正男和阿呆。能把这俩的戏做好，剧场版就好看，否则就一般。
风间想同化小新这样一起做精英未来读一所学校，小新想唤醒风间一起做春日部队员过快乐童年。还好蜡笔小新里童年永远不会过去。

表面上很日式无厘头，用这种方式来呈现严肃内核，能很好地避免说教意味，更能引人深思

故事类似于RL斯坦的《果冻训练营》又有笑点，又有泪点，有热血。棒！
寓意挺深刻，剧情适合小孩观看，但后面硬扯什么青春就煽情且尬了，没有蜡笔小新情怀，只能给三星，不能再多了。
