The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 还不错的小成本故事片，有用心好好讲一个故事，对国产片来说，这就很难得了，并且地方语言——潮汕语和潮汕语歌曲的运用也是加分项。

结尾用手机拍摄的手法很新颖 还真是去了杭州 看到熟悉的西湖 哈哈哈 这不是我天天去散步的地方嘛
有一种看记录片的感觉，全片的演员一个都不认识，演的却比某些明星好太多，尤其是潮汕妈妈演的真好，这就是妈妈的样子啊

有点感人但不多。这个剧情的模板很熟悉，把矛盾架在潮汕文化习俗中很巧妙（当然也确实是源于创作者的真实背景）。而越南电影《再见妈妈》则是把类似套路用在了LGBT的出柜矛盾中。

配角演技有点尬，有不少地方的对白和表演都是国语状态直接转成潮语有些不太自然，其他的都还挺用心的，简单但能把事说好，支持一下~
挺朴树又接地气的，虽然文化不同，但是能看到真诚，还真是生活里的点点滴滴，怪不评分如此高
另，几首潮汕方言的歌，还都挺好听的。

看到片中间的时候，就在想千万不要是俗套的烂结局，一点也不现实。不过，也真有点害怕这片子有过于现实，还是会期待一个圆满的结局。
很真实的生活，家长里短的潮汕风味，想要本地媳妇的妈妈，在华强北做电商的儿子，自媒体的离婚未来儿媳，传统和现代碰撞，淳朴而简单的对话。
大赞这个妈妈的演技，每个情绪的把握，台词，都很到位，这个演技吊打很多专业的演员，后面怼脸拍都没有怕。
