The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 刚看的时候非常感动，演的也好，只是看了一个小时之后，被看字幕累坏了。这种形式还是应该在剧院欣赏
西安疫情lockdown，楼下大喇叭里“请大家保持距离 防止交叉感染” 萦绕不停。面前荧幕里的人们高歌“I’m an islander. I’m an islander.”眼睛里是不容忽视的、充满生命力的光。会好的，我坚信。
戲劇節奏太好了，內容也很豐富，有溫情有恐懼有隔閡有反思，不同的人可以看到不同的東西。
密集的台词和唱段、动听的旋律、热闹的舞步、简洁炫目的舞美、缤纷的笑料和点到为止的感人瞬间，百老汇太强了。女机长的solo曲目Me and the Sky进入单曲循环。
20年计划的现场版被疫情无限延期，911 20年，初版演员们也都见老了。

看过现场，重看官摄还是很激动。记忆全部都回来了。有几个演员是发福了啊😂
非常美式正确的剧，Me and Sky里面 'Be Patient. Just see what happens.'
看之前甚至不知道这是一部关于911的歌舞剧，前面还在想怎么会有这么奇怪的故事设定（籍籍无名的小镇突然迎来大量飞机和数千名旅客），反应过来后十分佩服这个“在别处”的视角。
好治愈，好好哭，人和人之间的善意和温暖，人性光辉美好的一面，好温暖啊
