The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 各方面都令人想要和《爱乐之城》对比。但本片无论是音乐上还是对爱情与梦想之间挣扎的表现，都差了许多。

歌舞片段的出现都极为自然，但感觉还是差一两首波西米亚生活那样的爆炸单曲。Sunday虽好，但无论离City of Star还是La Vie Boheme都有挺大一段距离。
那田蜘蛛山篇的后续，柱们的出现为本作增色不少！

不是一个完美的结尾却是一个好的结尾，梦想不会因为失败而停止。主题很喜欢，但是摄影拉跨音乐拉跨演员拉跨，跟«爱乐之城»比真的就太不精致了，加菲真不适合演这种片，他和高斯林的气质一个天上一个地下。

风柱·不死川实弥
片尾音乐好听。电影不好看。虽然知道是基于艺术界的真人真事，自己对耳边充斥着ticktick声音的感受感触也很深，但是我还是过于厌倦于看这些现实和梦想的冲突的电影了。女方想为了男主差点放弃工作的时候让我有一丝丝不适，不过还好最终还是选择了自己的事业。
没有《吉屋出租》乃至百老汇的基础储备，要入戏确实有些障碍，就叙事性来说，根本和《爱乐之城》没法比，确实很难称为电影，又不是音乐剧，某些地方是情景剧的处理手法，总体更接近实景补拍完整的NT live，加菲全程表现高光，感觉比他之前演的电影都要来劲，巨投入，也许这就是舞台艺术的魅力吧。
太远了也太近了，不知道怎么打分。可能一年前看会觉得很cliche，但现在我是一个有遗憾的妥协了的前从业人员。
非常典型的美国电影，前半部分代入感不强，后半部分渐入佳境。乔恩的努力、挣扎、死亡、成功，都归于一个词，无常。最近读关于阿德勒的心理学，很有感触，你的课题只是把每一天过好，每一天的舞蹈跳好，照佛学讲的“无常”二字，眷恋过去，远眺未来，都是愚蠢。
错过，放弃，丢失，他像是Rent里所有角色的和，一无所获却也应有尽有。
