The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 看了一个半小时左右，剧情让我有点看不下去了，但是神尾枫珠真的好帅啊啊啊踩在我的审美点上！！
故事挺套路化的，顺带了解了一下真实事件，过于“正确”，原创部分较多。

改编并不出彩，剧本对于事件现场和南非社会两个尺度下种族冲突的平行刻画都很肤浅，但看得出导演和编剧在质感和节奏上，有意努力模仿同经典的题材/同类型电影，这方面《血腥星期天》是标杆。作为一部中低成本时代背景电影，视觉还是很良心的，尤其是服化道。值得一提的是，前南非军队特战军人创设的G73 Tactical Advisors战术/安保机构为该片提供了警务指挥与战术顾问、演员枪械训练、警察特技群演、警用服装/装具、警用载具（包括直升机）。

作为好人的恐怖分子，遭遇背叛、不公、歧视，白人和黑人的差异，个体背后的苦衷，种族，情绪，外表和内心，各类主义，远超想象的自由代价
角色工具人气息太重，人物情感变化也很生硬，最后早应该直接黑幕的，居然先加一波手撕鬼子似的枪战，让主角前期刻画的形象也有点分裂。整部电影感觉是借着显示故事外壳拍的政治正确的片，除了麻痹黑人和让大部分白左展示一下道德优越感，毫无其他更深的探讨。

其实改编的不错，虽然三个人人物设计有所重合，但是整体上各个人以及各个人的角色产生了一定的平衡，只有平衡才能让事件情节完整地推进下去并使得屏幕里的这场劫持让人相信。
自由的代价是非常昂贵的，除了需要得到绝大多数人的支持，而且还需要革命者牺牲。
没有大牌明星与导演，豆瓣介绍里连导演的信息都没有，但不妨碍本片的紧张与思索
四十多年过去了，南非黑人兄弟们经济上要加油啊...
脸谱化的设定，三星仅仅是评价电影的拍摄，历史真实事件和它的意义不是我们能够打分的。For freedom!
