The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 一本正经的搞笑B级片。话说Will真的太矬了，一枪就不行了，人家警察小哥中了两枪，救护车狂飙途中无麻醉剖腹取弹，捏爆脾脏，手术过程被打晕，颠沛流离2H，醒了依然能清醒地说话摸枪，真美国大兵不如LA小警察

本片属于正剧的剧情片，没有什么笑点，剧情也很老套，可是就有人吃这一套。
时长上较丹麦原作几乎翻倍，也试着加入了角色更多的背景填充和各种技术花样的无用堆砌——最初的故事给人感觉是生命中两难的选择与更真切动容的情感困境，但这里可能徒留“你们怎么还没死”的真挚呐喊（和片刻不耐烦），效果相当奇怪。然后角色背景/对话提及里自然还要塞入Mel Gibson、种族、医改等等喊话，亦是属于特色改编后的自行加料；底线是看到Jake演反社会比英雄要有意思太多（也是比《罪人》更好的地方），我儿Jackson White竟然持续在线，那也就算是没在电影院白跟着持续不适的追逐画面流汗了。
我觉得吧…这真是卖拷贝目前最好的一部了…撇开意料之中的结局，处理调度真的是叫一个顺滑…只可惜现在的观众对这种没IP的动作片没那么容易买账了，北美根本没人看，周末都能轻轻松松包场…全球票房估计都收不回成本…
