The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. It’s imperfect, but quite sentimental.
非常积极，非常正确，感觉汪汪队比少先队还会洗脑。小朋友是挺喜欢的，但是我觉得有必要让孩子少看这些动画片。
可能这就是拍时代剧能用的"最高级"方式了。虽不让人厌，但看过罗马，看过其他英国文艺片，就明显很东施了。
大背景、小人物、童年视角和乡愁的老配方，那场骚乱更像是强加的戏剧动力，个体裹挟其中的层次处理得简单又混乱。比较真诚动人的是小男孩一家人相处的点滴，电影里的牛仔主持公正，飞车渡过难关，现实中离开的和留下的都是时代洪流里的浮木。孩子关心的本该是座位的远近，要做的选择确实海的这边和那边。
导演只是想拍一个童年回忆，为什么要求他处理北爱极其复杂的政治和宗教冲突，当然他也处理不了
8.3/10 一支慢悠悠的制作精良的爱尔兰小诗。我喜欢历史的厚重感，它让我的心被填补。本片不是纪录片，而是一首诗。
导演用相似的美学风格拍摄了一部全方位降级的英国版《罗马》，很私人（里面小孩还在看《雷神》的漫画）但也确实能力有限，个别佳句出彩但完全无法连贯情感。不过看的时候突然想到咱们也能拍部中国版《罗马》，黑白画面的80年代首都小孩在胡同家属院中玩耍打闹，偶尔有经过的大学生会逗他给点冰棍小零食什么的，直到有一天看到他们衣衫褴褛跌跌撞撞地逃进胡同......
PS：总觉得《贝尔法斯特》很像娱乐低配版阿方索卡隆《罗马》，只不过前者第一人称后者第三人称，maybe颁奖季和罗马一样，最佳导演/国际电影/摄影吧

故事除电影里的部分用彩色体现，其他的带来的黑白质感印象令人极为深刻。
