The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 老年人版的《少女终末旅行》。狗萌，汤姆汉克斯演技依然爆表，机器人有点意思，其他部分非常平庸。
末日，荒漠，废土，弃城，狗，机器人，孤独，求生，人性，世界，联系，爱，拍到我心坎里的电影，触动到我心中柔软的部分，泪腺失控…
剧情确实比较简单，放在“爱死机”系列里似乎也不违和。生命进入倒计时的Finch一方面珍视Goodyear的陪伴以至于专门造一个机器人来负责“遛狗”，另一方面却又难以与他人建立信任。在前往旧金山的旅途上，人、动物、机器人三者相互磨合、建立联系。有时不知该说是Jeff的学习曲线过于陡峭还是Finch过于心大，敢于让一个刚刚上手一天的司机开夜路。Jeff在一些技能上的木讷同在另一些情形下的机警也同样形成巨大反差。影片似乎没有解释清楚房车到底是用什么供能，如果是汽油，全程并没看到加油（况且如果已经荒无人烟，管道恐怕也早已荒废），如果是电力，又不能解释为何车顶的太阳能电池板被撞坏后似乎对旅程并没有什么影响。
虽然最后二十分钟哭了一卷卫生纸但还是要扣一星，因为人类对机器人太坏了 😡

—末日题材往往太重末日，轻情感。此片有点《我是传奇》和《机器人总动员》的感观。
它像是一个有着庞大信息库和物理强度却又对这个世界充满着好奇的婴儿
想到《末日危途》，这个有点太干净了，没那么末日。三星半
明明是平淡的故事，我却感受到了浓烈的孤独。
第四条原则并不是让机器人臣服于人类 而是让他成为自己 from jack to Jeff.

披着科幻外壳，讲的却是一个关于守护的温情故事，末日里的真善美。
泪奔……好片！没有个人英雄主义，只有一个垂暮老人、一条狗、一个有感情会做梦的机器人。
我最近打分真是越来越肆无忌惮了。||该说不说，这有拍成电视剧的潜质啊。是吧，《甜牙》。(～￣▽￣)～
非常不错的科幻公路电影，一人一狗一机器，狗狗演技很棒，机器人最终也变得像人懂得了爱，懂得了友谊，看着有他陪伴狗狗芬奇也就放心了。片尾曲好听
白胡子老爷爷比较好看。这电影只能找老汤大爷演
末世题材玩出新高度，当你不在了，我会带着你的精神走下去直到我灯枯油尽。
