The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 相互救赎连连碰，充斥着强烈的沉稳孤独浪漫压迫感。
8.2/10 锋芒尽收，新旧表里被高度统一在数字摄影的迷离平面上，直至最后一个镜头定格在男性符号的隔断破除。今年最好的奥系电影（也当然与奥斯卡无缘）
创伤，以及将理解和爱作为救赎。

期待值太高了，结果看了两次也没看进去。放弃了。
一个比较好的题材被导演和编剧毁得只剩形式不见高潮与转折 旧时的伤痛没说好 打扑克也没讲到点子上 两相不连贯 结果平淡得有如催眠
和PTA处女作《赌城纵横》一样，几乎没有展现炫酷的赌博技巧的场面，赌博只是背景板。和保罗施拉德一贯的作品风格，创伤过往的主角，自我毁灭与救赎。监狱虐囚部分的夸张鱼眼镜头有意思，但总体完成不如《第一归正会》。奥斯卡伊萨克梳个大背头还是颇有赌神那神韵的。
可惜的是，畸变的画面将创伤展现得很好，理解和爱的说服力则没那么强。

偶尔的镜头非常漂亮，长时间的情节让我无法看进去。如同第一归正会大家都说好我却完全感受不到。
施拉德是一位优秀的编剧 但不是优秀的导演 剧情太散且闷… 广角监狱那段是唯一亮点 ？

故作深沉，什么事情都没有讲好，ptsd，赌博，感情，犯罪，全都没有说清楚。

3.5，施拉德似乎在重复同一种主人公，精神创伤的男主角走向自我毁灭的道路…“宗教性”庄重的色调和构图，真是我看过最压抑的公路片了…
男主很有型 片子虽沉闷 手法却是我喜欢的类型
