The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 故事是十分优秀的，但是表现手法有些（印度特色），配乐简直是灾难，总体来说很好，也很羡慕。
在此宣布印度电影全面赶超韩国电影，已经甩开天朝电影两个日本电影。
人物塑造和台词上都太满了，显得浅白，叙事节奏和角度还不错，一环扣一环，但是突然爆出的BGM还是让人不适应
当然，即便对本影片奉上再多的赞美之词，在如此真实、震撼、悲哀、血淋淋的历史面前都显得无力……
可惜我们无法在中国电影里看到个人对体制的诘问。
剧情很虐心，一度我都想离席了，😂但是确实挺不错的，苏利耶的演技绝了，刚开始我都没认出来。故事情节流畅节奏快一点也不拖沓。
豆瓣评分虚高的片子里很多都符合几大因素：外国片，鸡汤多，少数群体，白左等 占两个就可以无脑五星。
可看性很强，可以当律师片看，一路高歌猛进的人权律师，总能拿到出其不意的证据击溃愚蠢的警察。
杰伊比姆实则是一种为平等而斗争的精神。
有时候觉得印度没希望了，有时候又觉得印度很有希望，就是这样的电影让人觉得印度很有希望，在这方面中国赶不上
塑料般廉价的印度贫民电影。但，他们至少还可以游行示威，还有不畏权势不担心失去执照的死磕律师。律师全程面瘫减分。
真实事件改编，一个含冤入狱的低种姓者被毫无人道的严刑逼供，妻子为帮丈夫昭雪，找到专门致力于底层人民发声的人权律师，一路坚持与奋斗的故事。
而律师处理事件的全过程毫无波澜，没收希望到失落，无助到转机的情绪切换，太平了。
看到后面热泪盈眶。人人生而平等，不畏强权，争取人权。
最近平顶山刘玉琨事件。。。痛心
手法中规中矩，但事件本身足够打人。国内也不乏类似案件（如列树宾案），也不缺正义的法律警和有骨气的当事人，但维拳和表达空间还是狭窄太多。
就一句话！不是拍得有多好，是真的敢拍，真的能拍。题材取胜了，其他不聊了。

拍摄手法一般，甚至很老套，难得的是这样的题材，而且还是在印度，再过10年中国也未必拍得出这种题材的电影。
