The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 历史背景是安史之乱平定之后，郭将军应该是指郭子仪，有点像《绣春刀》系列，但这部电影更加快意恩仇、轻刀快马、短小精悍，网络大电影做成这样已经不错了。男主角看上去既是盲侠又是镖人，打来打去有点审美疲劳，类似的动作戏太泛滥了，如果能多加些写实、历史和文化的元素就更好了。
一分扣在剧情Bug：倪燕家被屠门时瞎子完全无知觉。
5上学，谢苗错过了港片最后的辉煌，也躲过了中国影视业的大萧条，等到学成出山，容貌变得普通，不讨喜，昔日的影迷和伯乐也风流云散，这时候他又面临选择，是继续在小制作里摸爬滚打，还是消费仅剩的名望经商走穴？网大里面多次打磨。
故事挺简单的，但是效果好，有些场景有点黑泽明电影的感觉
是此前看释行宇《死亡救赎》后最令人激动的一部小成本武侠片了，很是难得
拍的可以，有传统武侠那味儿了，就是剧情还是有些单薄
是想鼓励打四星的，但是剧情和表演属实拉跨
故事没啥新鲜的，武侠翻来覆去就那些桥段看得腻味。人物塑造上语言有古龙温瑞安的意思，不过让我想到第五代的一些技巧，人物有了嚼头，比现在一水的鲜肉武侠红粉书生，更加粗粝一些，竟然有了复古之感。也不知道是进步了，还是没进步。

算近年来少有的国产武侠电影了，虽然是网大，打斗比之前的东北警察故事更精彩，谢苗的动作已经相当成熟了，这部完全有大荧幕的水准。期待续集，希望也有咱们自己的盲侠系列
故事很一般，武打很欣赏；
除了服化道不太讲究之外，其他都不错。谢苗原来是少林五祖里的童星，感觉很有潜力。
