The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 群星荟萃的跨年电影，每条线都挺有意思的，但因篇幅限制都点到为止，这种故事如果拍成几集的电视剧可能会更好一点。姜sky一个人承包了仅有的一些笑点。

线太多，显得就很杂了，每条线的剧本也挺随意。当然，作为贺岁片，质量还算可以，比国内群星云集的贺岁片质量好多了

开场的八分钟长镜头是年度镜头！虽然是伪长镜，但设计得真好！靠静物和光线转场，捕捉几十年间的标志性事件，一下子就把这个家庭的核心内在给把握住了。但是后面发展得稍显单调。东欧电影的许多情节其实能与我们无缝对接，比如迪厅、跳蚤市场，比如各种街头文化和日常情绪，由于类似的体制，那个时代的东欧其实跟咱们还是很像的。
各种野蛮女友的影子以及熟悉的套路，各种滤镜驾轻就熟，跨年片不用过多追求逻辑，团团圆圆开开心心就够了
虽然不是大制作，但挺真实的，能够让人产生共鸣。作为子女，面对父母生病的无奈与无助；作为父母，不想拖累子女的自我牺牲。
开始上来就10分钟的长镜头把犀牛一家的历史说了一遍，快速简练，不错。
这个世界上，可能只有父母才会无条件的爱我们吧。
