剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it?     感觉A24要重写各种文化的鬼怪故事，重新定义原始恐惧。这个男主角演员，也算是童星走出来的，转型挺成功的。好像是个宗教阴谋，爱尔兰德鲁伊本地信仰打败了基督那一套，教男主何为骑士，让男主相信魔法，好像梅林亚瑟王也是这个主题。所以男主妈就是想要自己儿子上位吗，搞了个阴谋，但是男主自己醒悟了？但不管怎样，国王没有后裔，那肯定这个男主要继位吧。国王是不是本来也想趁机除掉男主？那国家又传给谁？男主妈估计是想让男主皈依德鲁伊这种魔法，就是相信魔法腰带有保命的神奇力量。但是结尾男主既放弃了骑士和基督那一套勇敢的价值观，也放弃了相信魔法保命的母亲那一套魔法，什么都放弃了，就是看破红尘的感觉，绿骑士满意了。好像头就是自我或者世俗的欲望之类的象征，斩首变成了某种顿悟和升华，这个设定很赞。
