The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 确实太适合后疫情看了，尤其2020年初的时候。然而疫情这场灾难已经转向了无人知晓的地方，以后谁会来写2022这部音乐剧呢
转场令人映像深刻，但是可能事件太遥远，没办法引起共鸣
看前半个小时的时候感觉特别惊艳，后面渐渐就有些腻乏了
编排太牛，节奏太紧密，简直有点目不暇接了。
真切感受到百老汇和国产音乐剧之间的差距...
2021上映，刚好在疫情期间，又是“911”20周年，演出这样一幕剧再合适不过。来自不同地方讲着不同语言的人，因为怀有同样的普遍的人类的情感而得以相聚相惜。

剧本和音乐都好棒！一个很沉重的题材却一直通过场景转换来减轻大家的悲伤…加上个人的故事和小镇居民的爱心，最后看到眼睛湿润…

音乐剧真是各种艺术元素的集大成者，诸多巧思，触动心弦。好久没有这样沉浸的体验了，观赏音乐剧的每一分钟里，生命似乎都更值得一些。
题材本身为音乐剧加成不少，耐听度我觉得一般般

还不错，这种形式的舞台电影百老汇音乐剧…真是第一次看，本以为会各种跳戏，没想到很真切
被女主的solo吸引着看了，然后发现讲的完全是不一样的事，是关于911发生后数架飞机紧急降落在纽芬兰岛上的故事。笑话尴尬，歌曲没有记忆点，总之好无聊。

这部音乐剧不仅做到了令人难忘的音乐效果，亦在幽默的基础上增添了人性的光辉。
