The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 1931的德国是一种山雨欲来的氛围，经济不景气，一战的阴影还没有消失，纳粹就又要崛起了，Labude的命运伴随着迷离彷徨走向毁灭，Fabian的爱情是这其中的亮色（这三个主演都好喜欢，希林真是越发好看了）

各种现代主义表现方式的杂糅，令人眼花缭乱却对人物塑造没啥实质推动。全片最精彩的就是来自原著小说的旁白了，使观众一窥原作的高度文学性。另外，镜头晃得叫人想吐，过多的失序败坏了美感，只让我觉得摄像师手抖得厉害，越发感到固定机位和轨道摄像的可贵。
前1/3的部分镜头画面表现很惊艳。

为了ED加一星，故事毫无新意，人设和造型总有一种似曾相识之感，让我想起火影、死神还有其他好多动漫……
