看得好费劲啊…明明是一个赌博片儿，生生弄成了文艺片，然后配乐我真的想问一句，老搞的那么rua何必呢……

看的时候觉得这个片儿和《第一归正会》有点像，原来一个导演。
施来德拍的还是很稳，Bill这个有着不光彩过去但是急切想洗心革面的人物塑造的很成功，人物性格习惯设置合理，细节全部到位。虽然是赌场为背景，但是完全跟赌博没关系，赌博完全服务于人物塑造。片子整体有一种七八十年代电影的老派沉稳，但是永不过时的feel。PS，Oscar的屁股也太翘太好看了吧。
算牌人初进年轻人旅馆镜头首次出戏，整体冷感基调尚不成熟，不出色不坏。

沉郁的气质，叙事上颇为反类型，但略显不够powerful
赌牌是表，自我救赎是里，虐囚是因。日日背负良心谴责，却在一个叛逆废才青年身上找回内心深处的善良与正直。剧本很好，大部分时间电影都在铺垫和蓄势，叙述和表现手法非常克制，克制得近乎沉闷，但妙也妙在点到即止。气质上更接近文艺片。
事实证明，再有钱也不要随便给人钱，可能会害死别人
勉强算更现代风格的布列松 但文本主题和影像始终不搭
保罗•施拉德回归“房间里的男人”之作，回归的还有禁欲式的主角，带着伤痕和过去最后实现复仇
淡淡的忧伤，说不上来的感觉；记忆深刻的一个人在被白被单裹好的桌子上一边记录，一遍喝酒的场面；可能内心中有这样的渴望。
在干净，顺滑的数字平面上，许多调度都极为迷人，别的没了
施拉德这次又继续了他的救赎主题，而且还是能把人物情感细节的拿捏的如此精准

以为是和扑克比赛有关的剧情，其实内核是反对监狱暴力和部队黑暗面，不过整体有种闷闷的气氛，男主的选择有种鱼死网破的决绝。能算牌的概率，却无法掌控自己的人生啊。
