本该是他最擅长的西部公路片，但节奏很缓慢，并不出彩。东木老爷子的确是老了，老到驯服野马只能使用远景替身+本人上身近景的方式呈现，就连说台词和走路都有一种无力感。
这部有失水准了，有些失望，不过毕竟老爷子也九十多了，还能演骑马戏也是够拼了。
