The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 四海为家看星河落在荒漠，或者贷款买房在后院烧烤，生活有无数的可能性，我们能作出的选择却那么少。
拍出了homeless和houseless的不同，非常契合项飙说的「敢于不占有」。但看完我思考最多的，是看望住院病人时送泡面，到底算很亚洲的行为（因为是日清杯面），还是很不亚洲的行为（因为「没营养」）呢……
为啥美国老人都那么有活力，可以开着房车到处去，我们老人只能在家带第三代？

路上就是方向，有方向就有动力，为什么所有人看起来都如此笃定？
我还以为是美国本地人拍的，拍出了失产者的困境昔日的第一大国的困境，但又不死心地想要为这种现状去开脱，为了追求精神境界啦不是因为没钱被困住了而是因为精神上被困住了啦……巴拉巴拉，但这或许也是现状的一种表现吧。

很轻盈。赶在奥斯卡颁奖之前看完，以此彰显自己很有品位（。
3.5星吧。感觉有点碎。最打动我的竟然是最后的一句“See you down the road."

看简介想不到拍成这样，其实是可以拍剧的题材，结果拍出来一点意识流。忘了在哪也看过说homeless不是没有home，只是暂时没有固定居所。不过这部对困难着墨不重，倒是浪漫化哲学化了整个体验
值得一看，但是获奖觉得有点牵强。3.5，因为众所周知的原因给四星
