The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 原著已经很精炼了，影片增加的部分有画蛇添足的感觉。

过程中的细节蛮有趣的，但是结尾好像和过程中讲述的不是一个主题，到底是想讲对电影的爱呢还是讲和妻子的感情呢，可能导演自己也还没想明白

对于二三十岁开始放弃自我，最后靠孙子助攻拿到奖项的烂赌鬼，很难产生共情。还好有永野芽郁在，观感好了一些。
松竹百年作，确实有点作，这么自私的人生不讨人喜，北川景子倒是很养眼。

这部电影不如说是借用了《象棋的故事》。
为保证客户资产密码，男主被纳粹禁锢、折磨，靠着一本棋谱熬过了战争，战后进了精神病院。另一条线即游轮上进行的象棋比赛，应为男主幻想出来的？
最后居然看哭了。时代的结束多么落寞。（世界上没有比咩酱更可爱的女孩子了吧）

几乎没有缺点的年轻go酱和几乎没有优点的老年go酱，验证了“我们最后都会活成自己最讨厌的模样”这条铁律。也或许是从两个人的视角，对go酱不同时期展开的描述，年轻的淑子视角和老年后女儿的视角，因此于一人身上，呈现出两种不同的轨迹。
